OK-so this is a story about listening. Deidre, the QUEEEN of Still River Mill suggested we give this core spun rug yarn a try a while ago. We were slow to pick up on her guidance. One day we did. When these gorgeous cuties showed up we nearly fell over. “Rug yarn?” you say. Yes, it is technically a rug yarn but…. we say make a rug if you want to but we plan to knit some crazy cowl with a hood and a big, ol’ vest and we might knit some other stuff into these things because this is some sculptural magic. Of course, we only did a test run so don’t be mad if this is gone soon, we plan to do it again and again and …..

PS: Rug yarns are sold in bumps-hence, ‘chunky-bumpy.’ And no, we don’t know why it’s a bump. But we do remember doing the bump. Story for another time.
